Image

With the World Cup 2023 looming around the corner, their potential returns could prove to be a big boost for Team India.  Both Bumrah and Krishna, as part of their training, bowled to Mumbai batters in practice games at the Alur Grounds in Bangalore. Coincidentally, both pacers sustained stress fractures in their backs and underwent surgeries recently. Bumrah has been out of contention for international selection since 2022, and if he is able to make his return to full fitness, the Indian pace attack could be bolstered to new heights. As part of his injury, Bumrah missed out on several major tournaments for the Indian team including the Asia Cup 2022, the T20I World Cup 2022, and the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. On the other hand, Prasidh Krishna last played

West Indies. (Photo Source: RANDY BROOKS/AFP via Getty Images) India and West Indies will square off in the third and final ODI at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy on Tuesday, August 1. Both teams will be seeking a victory in the series decider after the West Indies clinched the second ODI to tie the series 1-1. Just as in the first ODI, India employed a revised lineup in the second match, resting skipper Rohit Sharma and veteran Virat Kohli. The hosts took advantage of India's decision as the Hardik Pandya-led side were bundled out for a paltry score of 181, thanks to the outstanding bowling efforts of Romario Shepherd and Gudakesh Motie. During the chase, the hosts withstood a strong stint from Shardul Thakur (3/42). Skipper Shai Hope (63* off 80) and youngster Keacy Carty’s (48* off 65) knock helped the West Indies to finish the game in 36.4 overs. The West Indies outplayed India by six wickets, snapping a run of nine consecutive bilateral defeats against the Men in Blue si

‘I don't see clarity in his batting position’ - Aakash Chopra reflects on Hardik Pandya’s form slump

Aakash Chopra and Hardik Pandya. (Photo Source: Twitter and RANDY BROOKS/AFP via Getty Images) Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has found himself amidst a run of poor form in recent months. Ever since his return from injury in April 2022, Pandya had been in sensational form with both the bat and the ball. However, the run was cut short when he had a rough patch at the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, where he was unable to make a big impact for Gujarat Titans in their run to the final. Furthermore, the 29-year-old has been unable to perform to the best of his abilities in the ongoing ODI series between West Indies and India. Scoring only 12 runs and taking one wicket, the visitors would be hopeful that Pandya can reflect on his performance and put in an improved showing in the series decider on Tuesday, August 1.  Seeing the 29-year-old’s poor performances, former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra also came forward to give his take on the same. Chopra opined tha

'A little bit of injuries and you will play in IPL. A little bit of injuries, you won't play for India' - Kapil Dev reacts to Indian players getting injured

Kapil Dev in Indian Film Festival (Photo Source: Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2022) Kapil Dev was one of the finest all-rounders the game has ever seen. He also led the Indian team from the front during the 1983 World Cup and helped them win the coveted title for the first time, after defeating the mighty West Indies team in the final at Lord's. Meanwhile, some top Indian players are currently injured or recovering from injuries and with the ODI World Cup less than three months away, fans are anxious about their chances of featuring in the showpiece event, which will be hosted exclusively in India for the first time. The likes of Shreyas Iyer, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, and Rishabh Pant are all recovering from different injuries. Kapil Dev has always been known for his straightforward assessments as he doesn't hold back when he talks about cricket. He gave his take on the plethora of injuries that have surfaced in recent times in Indian cricket and spoke on the negat

'I was a little bit unsure, it just felt like the right time' - Stuart Broad reveals reason behind sudden retirement decision

Image
Stuart Broad. (Photo Source: Alex Davidson/Getty Images) Stuart Broad has been England's best bowler in the ongoing Ashes by a distance. He has so far picked up 20 wickets in the series and also joined the 600-wicket club in Test cricket during the fourth Test in Manchester. The cricket world was shocked when the 37-year-old announced that he would retire from Test cricket after the end of the fifth Ashes Test in London. The revelation came right after the conclusion of play on Day 3. Broad explained that he wasn't sure about the decision but he received clarity after having a conversation with skipper Ben Stokes the previous night. "I told Stokesy last night and told the change room this morning. And to be honest, it just felt like the right time. I mean, I thought a lot about it and, you know, even up until, like, eight o'clock last night, I wasn't 50 to 50 but I was a little bit unsure," Broad told Sky Sports. "But once I actually went to Stokes

Confident we can chase whatever England set: Todd Murphy

Todd Murphy (Photo Source: Ashley Allen/Getty Images) Todd Murphy, Australia's off-spinner, candidly acknowledged the toll Australian fast bowlers are bearing during the gruelling Ashes tour. Simultaneously, Murphy humbly submitted that England's strong batting lineup presented the most formidable challenge he has faced thus far in his budding career. Australia stand at the precipice of making history, seeking to secure their first Ashes series triumph abroad in over two decades. England, relentless in their assault, have amassed a lead that inches close to the 400-run mark on the eventful third day of the fifth Ashes test. Overcoming this formidable obstacle is no small feat, for no team has ever succeeded in chasing down more than 263 runs in the fourth innings to win a Test match at The Oval. Nevertheless, Australian spirits remain unyielding, with Murphy exuding confidence that they can overcome any target set by England in the morning. "Confident they (A

Ajinkya Rahane pulls out of Leicestershire stint to manage workload

Image
Ajinkya Rahane. (Photo Source: Twitter) Leicestershire managed to secure Ajinkya Rahane’s signing after the cricketer had a brilliant season in the domestic circuit. The 35-year-old was slated to play in the Royal London One-Day Cup, but eventually pulled out of it to manage his workload. Notably, at the time of signing, Rahane’s international career seemed to be over, as the cricketer was not offered a central contract by the BCCI . However, he made an emphatic comeback by being extremely consistent in the domestic arena and also made a significant impact in the WTC final. Hence, the 35-year-old once again became a part of the scheme of things, and it resulted in him pulling out of the deal. Claude Henderson, Leicestershire's director of cricket, explained the new development on Saturday, July 29 and stated that the club completely understands Rahane’s decision. He also went on to add Peter Handscomb will be extending his stay in Rahane’s absence. “We are fully understandin

'There is no IPL for one-dayers' - Rahul Dravid opines on Suryakumar Yadav’s subpar performances in ODI format

Image
Rahul Dravid and Suryakumar Yadav. (Photo Source: Twitter/BCCI and Fan Code) Star Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav has well established himself as one of the best batters in the shortest format in world cricket. His destructive knocks and unique batting style have made him one of the most feared batters in the world. However, despite his repertoire in T20Is, the 32-year-old has struggled to make an impact in the longest format and even ODI cricket as well. Suryakumar Yadav made his ODI debut in July 2021, and ever since then, he has featured in 25 ODI matches for India, where he has scored 476 runs at an average of 23.8 runs with two half-centuries. He was also given the chance to feature in the ongoing ODI series between the West Indies and India. However, he has failed to impress so far, registering scores of 19 and 24 in the first two matches.  His subpar performances caught the attention of head coach Rahul Dravid, who came forward to give his take on Suryakumar ’s ODI career.

WI vs IND 2023: West Indies vs India, 2nd ODI - Talking Points and Who Said What?

Shardul Thakur. (Photo Source: RANDY BROOKS/AFP via Getty Images) The second ODI between the West Indies and India saw the visitors suffer their first loss of the ongoing multi-format series. After dominating the West Indies in the first ODI, team India rested their key players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, and that is where the West Indies looked to overpower them.  After Ishan Kishan’s gritty half-century in the top-order, none of the other batters were able to add much, as the visitors were bundled out for 181 runs in the first innings. Coming out to chase the target, Shai Hope and Keacy Carty’s brilliant knocks helped the side chase the target down and win the game by six wickets.  Talking Points from the 2nd ODI between West Indies and India: Ishan Kishan’s continued form: Indian wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan has been making quite a name for himself. After making his Test debut recently, the 25-year-old has been doing wonders in ODI cricket ahead of the World Cup as well

'Got no interest in going any time soon, have got a lot more to give' - James Anderson shuts down retirement talk

James Anderson. (Photo Source: OLI SCARFF/AFP via Getty Images) Veteran England pacer James Anderson has asserted that he is determined to give more to his squad, dismissing calls for his retirement. The 41-year-old has only taken five wickets in the ongoing Ashes series which raises questions about his form.  The all-time leading wicket-taker for England admitted the difficulties of having lean patches during an important series. However, he is optimistic about his skills, saying that he has another innings to contribute to his side. "You pray that these lean patches don't come in one of the biggest series you could play in but unfortunately for me that is the case. I've still got another innings to try to do something for the team," Anderson told Test Match Special. The veteran believes he has demonstrated his skill on Day 2 of the ongoing fifth Ashes Test at The Oval in London. Even as Anderson could get a solitary scalp, it happened to be of an important b

‘How can a legend of her stature do this to us’ - Nigar Sultana reflects on Harmanpreet Kaur’s outburst following ODI series

Image
Nigar Sultana. (Photo Source: Twitter/BCB) The ODI series between Bangladesh women and India women was recently concluded and ended in a draw. However, even more so than the performances, the series will be remembered for Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur’s outburst towards the umpires after she was dismissed, and during the post-match ceremony as well. After her dismissal, she smashed the stumps before walking back to the pavilion and even called on the umpires while receiving the trophy, which indicated that they had just as much of a role in the series being drawn. Her outburst saw her receive a two-month suspension and demerit points from the ICC (International Cricket Council). Furthermore, it was clear that her actions did not sit well with Bangladesh, as the team walked out of the post-match necessities and did not even click a picture together while sharing the trophy. Bangladesh skipper Nigar Sultana Joty recently came forward to give her take on the matter. She opined tha

(Photo Source: Morgan Hancock/Getty Images for Cricket Australia) With the much-anticipated ODI World Cup 2023 a few months away, the fans would be brimming with excitement to see some of the best teams in world cricket going against each other in order to get their hands on the coveted title. Furthermore, with the schedule announced, sales for the tickets would also be expected to go live very soon.  However, recently it was stated that the schedule for the World Cup could see some changes being made, and several reports also emerged that stated that the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) looked for suggestions from all parties involved in order to fix a price for the ticket for the marquee tournament. The report also said that the online ticket sales will go live by August 10, and by that time, the changes in the schedule will also have been made. Recently, the secretary of the BCCI, Jay Shah , came forward to state that the cha

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma supported me a lot: Kuldeep Yadav

Image
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. (Photo Source: Twitter) Kuldeep Yadav burst onto the international scene in 2017 and produced some noteworthy performances, including a famous hat-trick against Australia at the Eden Gardens. However, his form slowly dipped, and he went out of favour as far as the selection in the Indian team was concerned. The left-arm wrist spinner showed perseverance and rediscovered himself during Indian Premier League 2022, where he picked up 21 wickets in 14 matches, at an average of 19.95. He returned to the Indian setup and has done a great job whenever he has been given an opportunity. The 28-year-old thanked experienced cricketers like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for backing him as he looks to become a vital cog in India's plans. "Seniors play a big role. When I brought the changes in my game, Virat bhai and Rohit bhai supported me a lot. They have shown confidence in me. They are backing me," Yadav was quoted as saying by India Today. Kuld

‘We're very relaxed’ - Kuldeep Yadav opens up on competition with Yuzvendra Chahal for ODI spot

Yuzi Chahala and Kuldeep Yadav. (Photo Source: Twitter/BCCI) Ahead of the 2019 ODI World Cup, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal were inseparable as they were considered to be India’s biggest strength with the ball in the shorter formats of the game. However, post the semi-final defeat at the hands of New Zealand, the team management changed their style, as they became reluctant to use both wrist spinners, especially with Ravindra Jadeja available. Since then, Kuldeep and Chahal have been fighting for one spot in the playing XI, and competition is expected to heat up with the ODI World Cup drawing closer. However, after winning the first ODI against West Indies, left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav opened up about their relationship and stated that they are very relaxed and learn a lot from each other. He also went on to add that due to team combination, both spinners cannot play at once, and have accepted that and are ready to contribute whenever the team needs it. “We're v

'We hope he plays before the World Cup' - Rohit Sharma optimistic about Jasprit Bumrah's international return

Image
Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah. (Photo Source: BCCI) Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been out of action for some time because of his back injury and team India have paid some heavy prices because of his absence in major ICC tournaments.  And now after spending ample time in the NCA for his recovery, Bumrah is looking all set to make a comeback in International cricket with India's series against Ireland. Bumrah's presence at this juncture is going to be very important for India, especially with the imminent ODI World Cup on the horizon. His participation in the series against Ireland is deemed instrumental in India's preparation and their prospects for triumph in this prestigious tournament. The World Cup journey for India is going to start on October 8 in Chennai, where they will be facing Australia in the opening match. During a press conference before the first ODI against West Indies , Indian captain Rohit Sharma gave an update on Bumrah's recovery and said:

'Selectors have been really clear that I'm a bowler first in that team' - Pat Cummins prioritizes longevity over leadership ahead of WC

Image
Pat Cummins. (Photo Source: ICC/Twitter) On Day 3 of the fourth Ashes Test in Manchester, former Australia cricketer Glenn McGrath pointed out that Pat Cummins looks mentally tired and hence, the visiting team is not being able to capitalize. He also added saying that it was always on the cards as he expected something similar when Cricket Australia appointed a pacer to be the Test captain of the side. Since then, the matter only escalated, especially because the Kangaroos looked really poor in the fourth Test and were on the verge of defeat. Meanwhile, ahead of the ODI World Cup , these are worrying signs as the team management would expect Cummins to stay completely fit to lead the team in India. Previously, the skipper clarified that he will not be playing all the ODI matches in order to keep himself fit and since then, he led Australia only on two occasions in ODI cricket while Josh Hazlewood led once and Steven Smith was in charge of the series against India. Hence, Cummins’

‘They don't know what is happening inside’ - Rohit Sharma on Virat Kohli's lean overseas patch and form slump

Image
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. (Photo Source: Twitter) The Indian team has gone through many ups and downs over the last few years, with one of the biggest talking points in the squad being the form of ace batter Virat Kohli. Regarded as one of the greatest batters of this generation, Kohli struggled to get runs on the board in the past few years as he yearned for a century.  With his overseas century drought lasting up to five years and being recently ended after the 34-year-old smashed a brilliant ton against the West Indies in the ongoing multi-format series, it is safe to say that Kohli’s form attracted many questions from reporters, and with the questions also came annoyance from Indian skipper Rohit Sharma.  The 36-year-old recently came forward to express his frustration over the same repeated questions over Kohli ’s form and opined that he had answered the same question multiple times. Rohit stated that the people who talk do not know what is going on inside the dressing r

James Anderson vs Sa. (Photo Source: Visionhaus/Corbis via Getty Images) In the midst of speculations surrounding his future, legendary English paceman James Anderson has quashed retirement rumours, asserting that he still feels passionate about the game. Despite getting just four wickets in the three Ashes Tests this summer, the 41-year-old pacer remained focused on contributing to the team's success. Amid the uncertainties, Anderson credits the support received from the coach and captain, indicating that they want him to remain a part of the squad. Acknowledging his desire for a more significant impact on the series, Anderson expressed his frustration, but he remains optimistic. "I still feel like I'm bowling well," he asserted in his column for The Telegraph. The veteran cricketer recognised that in the past, discussions might have centered on whether he should be dropped from the team, but now the focus is on his future. Anderson values Test cricket, and r

'Aggression is acceptable but this crossed the line' - Shahid Afridi's scathing attack on Harmanpreet Kaur's behavior during Bangladesh ODI

Image
Shahid Afridi and Harmanpreet Kaur. (Photo Source: Twitter) Harmanpreet Kaur's recent outburst during the third ODI against Bangladesh has sent shockwaves in the cricketing world. Indian women's team captain's aggressive display, smashing her stumps and berating the umpires publicly, has not only drawn severe criticism but has also resulted in her two-game suspension. In the same line of incidents, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has chimed in, expressing his disapproval of her actions. In response to her breach of the Code of Conduct, the ICC fined Harmanpreet 75 percent of her match fee and handed her four demerit (2 suspension) points. However, Afridi believes the penalty should have been harsher, asserting that setting a strong example is crucial for the future. "It's not just about India ; such incidents have occurred in the past as well. Though it's uncommon in women's cricket, this incident was way too much, especially considering i

They've only retained it, If we win this week, It's a draw: Harry Brook

Harry Brook and Australia Team. (Photo Source: Twitter) As the fifth and final Test of the Ashes series approaches, England's star batter, Harry Brook, seemed optimistic about his team's chances. Despite having already lost the Ashes urn to the arch-rivals, Australia, Brook believes that a victory in the upcoming final Test, at The Oval, would provide them with a "moral victory" and a sense of pride. Throughout the Ashes series, England have showcased moments of brilliance, dominating certain Test matches that unfortunately slipped through their fingers. Most recently, the rain-marred Test in Manchester saw England in a commanding position, leaving Brook convinced of their potential victory had the game played out. "We were dominating the game last week, weren't we? So if the game had played out, I would like to think we would have won that," Brook said as quoted by ICC cricket. Acknowledging their strong performances in previous Tests, particul

Malaysia's Syazrul Idrus becomes first man to bag seven-for in T20Is

Syazrul Idrus. (Photo Source: Twitter) Malaysia seamer Syazrul Idrus scripted history, becoming the first bowler to claim a seven-wicket haul in men's T20Is. He achieved the feat during the opening game of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier B 2023 match against China at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, July 26.    Idrus surpassed Nigeria’s Peter Aho's previous mark for the best bowling figures in men's T20Is with his seven-wicket haul. The 20-year-old Aho had picked up 6 for 5 for Nigeria against Sierra Leone in 2021. India pacer Deepak Chahar and Uganda’s Dinesh Nakrani are the joint-third best for their 6 for 7. Chahar picked up six wickets against Bangladesh in 2019, while Nakrani recorded the same figures against Lesotho in 2021. Ajantha Mendis, the former  Sri Lanka spin bowler, has two six-wicket hauls to his name - 6/8 against Zimbabwe in Hambantota in September 2012 and 6/16 against Australia in Pallekele in August 2011. (Photo Source: Jan Kruger-ICC/ICC via Getty Images) Pakistan have announced a 15-member women's squad for the Asian Games 2022 that is scheduled to be held in Hangzhou, China. All-rounder Nida Dar will lead the Pakistan team in the continental multi-sport event.  Courtesy of their impressive performances in the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup and Emerging Women’s Teams Asia Cup, left-arm spinner Anoosha Nasir and right-handed batter Shawaal Zulfiqar have earned maiden call-ups in Pakistan’s senior women’s squad. Diana Baig also returns to international cricket after recovering from a finger injury that she sustained in the third and final ODI against Australia in January 2023.  Athletes are not permitted to carry their children during the Asian Games , thus former captain Bismah Maroof withdrew from the event. Meanwhile, Ayesha Naseem will also not feature in the forthcoming event as the board agreed to her request to retire from the sport af

David Warner is batting OK but not nailing the big score and his lack of aggression is concerning: Mark Waugh

Image
David Warner and Mark Waugh. (Photo Source: Twitter) David Warner’s dip in form in red-ball cricket is a huge matter of concern for the team management. Other than his cracking double century against South Africa towards the fag end of 2022, the southpaw hasn't done much to justify his spot in the playing XI. In the ongoing Ashes 2023 , he has faced the wrath of Stuart Broad multiple times and managed to score only 201 runs in four matches so far. Hence, his spot in the playing XI is not yet guaranteed for the fifth Test in Kennington as Marcus Harris remains available for selection. Meanwhile, analysing Warner’s game, former cricketer Mark Waugh stated that the cricketer looked too scared to get out. He believes that the 36-year-old is batting decently but is not being able to convert his starts into a big total. He also believes that the cricketer is lacking aggression, which was Warner’s USP at one point. “Unfortunately when you get older and closer to the end of your game

‘I think 2-2 would be fair’ - Zak Crawley optimistic of England's victory in Ashes 2023 finale at Kennington Oval

(Photo Source: Stu Forster/Getty Images) Despite losing the first two Test matches of the ongoing Ashes 2023 , England didn’t lose confidence as they managed to win the third one and were on the verge of winning the fourth match but rain ruined their chances. With that, the home team failed to bring back the urn as Australia managed to retain the Ashes.  Following which, opener Zak Crawley stated that the team is disappointed but backing themselves to win the fifth and final Test at Kennington Oval. He added saying that the entire series has been pretty thrilling and could have gone either way and thus, to finish it on level terms will be ideal.  He also believes that losing the Ashes isn’t the end of everything for England. He stated that skipper Ben Stokes is trying to build a team that can challenge any opponent and believes that it is the start of a new chapter for them in red-ball cricket. “I think 2-2 would be fair. IND vs WI Captains. (Pic source: RANDY BROOKS/AFP) Day 5 of the second Test between the West Indies and India did not go as planned for the visitors, as rain played spoilsport throughout the day. Team India required eight wickets to win the game on Day 5, whereas the West Indies aimed to chase down a target of 365 runs in the second innings. However, none of the sides were able to do that, as the match was eventually drawn after there was no play on Day 5 due to the rain. Across the four days of play, however, there was a plethora of performances that caught the public's eye. Virat Kohli’s sensational 121-run knock in the first innings and Mohammed Siraj’s fifer to limit the Windies were performances that stunned the world and contributed to the game being an absolute classic. Here are the Talking Points from the second West Indies vs India clash- Virat Kohli’s class: Ace batter Virat Kohli looked to be in sensational touch throughout the game. While discussing the middle order, Jaffer kept Virat Kohli at the pivotal number three spot, follo

BBL 2023-24: Ace pacer Joel Paris joins Melbourne Stars

Image
Joel Paris. (Photo Source: ames Worsfold/Getty Images) Left-arm pacer Joel Paris has signed in favour of Melbourne Stars for the upcoming edition of the Big Bash League. The West Australian pacer represented Perth Scorchers and Hobart Hurricanes in the past and thus, Melbourne Stars will be his third franchise in the competition. He had a stellar season in the last edition of the Sheffield Shield and thus, the Stars were keen to get him on board, especially after having a very disappointing season last time around. Meanwhile, his T20 record is not up to the mark and that remains a concern. In the last 10 years, Paris played only 37 matches in the BBL as he failed to create any significant impact. However, with Trent Boult and Luke Wood not confirmed to make their return, Stars wanted to bolster their pace department and hence, signed Paris for the upcoming season. “We identified a need for more left armers who could swing the ball in our team so to secure someone of Joel's e

Everyone backed me, Virat Kohli backed me and told me go and play my game: Ishan Kishan

Ishan Kishan. (Photo Source: Twitter) Day 4 of the second Test between the West Indies and India was a whirlwind for both sides. After the Windies were bundled out for 255 runs in the first innings, the Indian team came in to bat and put forth an excellent performance. Bashing the Windies bowlers, India posted 181 runs on the board before declaring their innings.  It was thanks to the Indian top-order that they were able to notch up a good total in the second innings, hence posting a considerably big target for the hosts. Youngster Ishan Kishan was the star of the show as he went out and scored his maiden Test fifty, amassing 52* runs in 34 deliveries. Notably, Kishan came out to bat in place of ace batter Virat Kohli and the 25-year-old revealed that it was Kohli’s idea for him to go out to bat instead of him. Furthermore, Kishan also revealed that the 34-year-old backed him to play his natural game.  "Was really special. I knew what the team needed from me. Everyone backe

'She could have shown better manners' - Nigar Sultana on Harmanpreet Kaur's destroying stumps and calling the umpiring 'pathetic'

Harmanpreet Kaur. (Photo Source: Twitter/Female Cricket) India and Bangladesh shared the spoils in the three-match ODI series as the deciding final match ended in a tie at the Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. However, Harmanpreet Kaur's scathing remarks on the umpires for some of their dubious calls in the match hogged the limelight. In the post-match presentation ceremony, the Indian captain called the standard of umpiring "pathetic" and said that the next time India visits Bangladesh for a tour, they will prepare accordingly. Her opposite number, Nigar Sultana, blasted her for not respecting the decisions of umpires. "It is totally her (Harmanpreet's) problem. I have nothing to do with it. As a player, she could have shown better manners. I can't tell you what happened, but it didn't feel right to be there [for the photograph] with my team. It wasn't the right environment. That's why we went back. Cricket is a game of discip
