The most expensive franchise of the Women's Premier League - Gujarat Giants have unveiled their logo ahead of the inaugural Women's Premier League auction on Monday, February 13 at the Jio World Convention Centre. The logo of the franchise has a roaring lion and similarly the frnachise would love to roar at the upcoming auction and then most importantly once the tournament gets underway.
Gujarat Giants (Ahmedabad franchise) is the most expensive team as it was sold for the highest price - INR 1289 crore (USD 158 million approx) followed by Mumbai (INR 912.99 crore/USD 111 million approx). Whereas the other three teams and there price was leasser than Mumbai and Gujarat - Bengaluru (INR 901 crore/USD 110 million approx), Delhi (INR 810 crore/USD 99.35 million approx) and Lucknow (INR 757 crore/USD 92.85 million approx).

Gujarat seem to have a core coaching group in place as they have roped in two of the biggest stalwarts to have played the game in the women's circuit. Former India skipper and legend Mithali Raj will be seen mentoring the players at the franchise. While Australia's legendary batter Rachael Haynes will be the head coach of the team.
