Australia, India, England, and Pakistan: Asghar Afghan

In a conversation with BatBricks7 presents Run Ki Runneeti show on CricTracker, Afghan said that his top picks for the tournament are Australia, India, England, and Pakistan As mentioned above, team Australia will want to repeat the antics of the last concluded T20 World Cup. The Men in Yellow are playing at their home and will certainly have an advantage.

Talking about England, they are coming to the competition after defeating Australia in a T20I series. England also had a good run in the last T20 World Cup. The Three Lions were knocked out of the competition after losing to New Zealand in the semi-final encounter.

The Men in Blue are also looking a dominating side in the competition. The likes of Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, and KL Rahul have looked in good touch during the warm-up games. They will start their campaign against the arch-rivals Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on October 23 (Sunday).

Talking about Pakistan, they will kick off their T20 World Cup campaign against arch-rivals India at MCG on October 23, Sunday. While Pakistan dominated India in the last edition, the Men in Blue would be eager to turn the game in their favour this time around. Pakistan recently won the Tri Series including New Zealand and Bangladesh and lost the Asia Cup finals to Sri Lanka.
