The Super Four stage of the Asia Cup 2023 is well underway, and the phase of the tournament has already seen many brilliant matches being played so far. India and Pakistan faced each other in a high-octane clash recently, and it is safe to say that Rohit Sharma-led India completely dominated Pakistan over the two days of play due to the rain.
Posting a target of 357 runs, India bundled out Pakistan for a meagre 128 runs during the run chase. It was the spell of star spinner Kuldeep Yadav that helped India register a brilliant win. Taking five wickets and conceding just 25 runs in eight overs, Kuldeep propelled India to a sensational win.
Furthermore, through his sensational spell, Kuldeep also registered a unique record for his name. His brilliant performance for India against Pakistan was the best figure for an Indian left-arm bowler in ODI history against the arch-rivals. Previously, the record was held by Manvinder Singh (9-2-22-4) in Sharjah in 1986.
