Reports of theft in Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hafeez's house have surfaced and concerns are being raised regarding the cricketer's well-being. As per reports, thieves stole a sum of over USD 20,000 which accounts for millions in Pakistani rupees.

Reports state that the thieves broke into Hafeez’s house between the 5th and 6th of March, in the middle of the night, when he and his wife were not in the house. The police complaint was filed by the uncle of Hafeez’s wife, and reportedly, footage of the robbery is available as well.

Hafeez is currently competing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 where he represents Quetta Gladiators. Hafeez isn't having a good day with his team either as Quetta Gladiators currently find themselves in the second last spot as all hopes for a playoff qualification seems to be almost out of sight.

Roy, Hafeez shines against Peshawar Zalmi as Gladiators pull off an unbelievable chase

Quetta Gladiators have been unable to perform throughout the 2023 PSL; after eight games Gladiators find themselves in the second last position with just six points to their name.

The win against Karachi Kings gave them a breather with nascent hopes of making it to the next stage. After the Karachi-based side notched 164 runs on the scoreboard, an unbeaten 86-run knock from Martin Guptill helped Quetta Gladiators register a much-needed victory.

In the 25th match, they faced Peshawar Zalmi, who have also been struggling in the tournament. In the seven matches that they have played so far, the team have managed to gather eight points and are currently seated at the fourth place.

In an exceptional batting performance, Zalmi scored a whopping 240 runs in 20 overs. In an even more remarkable performance, Quetta Gladiators chased that down riding on Jason Roy's heroics who almost single-handedly pulled off the unthinkable. Roy scored a mammoth 145 runs in just 63 deliveries, and remained unbeaten to take Gladiators home. His innings was studded with as many as 20 fours and 5 sixes.

He was ably supported by Mohammad Hafeez who, too, played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 41 runs off a mere 18 deliveries and struck 6 fours and 2 sixes to score at a strike rate of 227.78. He stitched a 93-run partnership with Roy for the third wicket, to finish things off with 10 balls to spare.
