The Border-Gavaskar Trophy has once again lived up to its billing. After India dominated the first two Tests of the series, Australia made a thrilling comeback in the third Test after sensational performances by Matthew Kuhnemann and Nathan Lyon.

Ahead of the series decider in Ahmedabad, Steve Smith, who led the Aussies in Pat Cummins’ absence, was once again seen inspecting the pitch ahead of the match. The pitches have been a controversial topic throughout the series, and especially after the pitch that was curated in Indore, it seems likely that the surface could once again be a deciding factor in the game.
