After a good break from cricket, India and Australia will be back in action as the two teams get ready for a five-match T20I series. Australia will be touring India for the series which is set to commence on December 9, 2022, with the fifth and final game scheduled on December 20. This will be the first time since 2018 that Australia tour India.

The two teams faced each other twice at the tournament, playing their campaign opener and the tournament finale as Australia won both games.
Every game between India and Australia, irrespective of the format, has been very intriguing as both teams put up a cut-throat competition whenever they meet. The last time the two teams faced in a T20I series was in 2021 when hosts Australia won the series 2-0. The upcoming series will be very much beneficial for both sides as they gear up for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023.
With Meg Lanning still on a break, the Australian side will be led by wicket-keeper batter Alyssa Healy. Australia have one big addition to their squad as Former Irish cricketer Kim Garth was roped in for the series.
